Paprika Kreme?

what is this stuff??? I was given two tubes of it after my parents' trip to Hungary but I cannot make heads or tails out of what to make with it? Or how long it lasts? Anyone out there know about this stuff?

That is correct. It's a paste version of the liquid that can't pass the security check at ANY airport! I don't know how they use it but you might check any Hungarian recipes on line or Hungarian restaurants might be willing to talk with you.

made standard chicken paprikash last night with this and it was better than the powdered paprika.

Excellent. I'm going to Hungary in August and I think I'll put it on my shopping list. (As I said, I've seen it in Toronto but that wouldn't have nearly the cachet as buying it at the source.)

I'm going to guess that it's a paste version of paprika. You could use it instead of paprika in goulash or paprikash, or you could add it to a marinade, soup or even salad dressing. Should be quite flavourful, I would think. I've seen a product like that in Toronto but never bought it.
