That is correct. It's a paste version of the liquid that can't pass the security check at ANY airport! I don't know how they use it but you might check any Hungarian recipes on line or Hungarian restaurants might be willing to talk with you.

I'm going to guess that it's a paste version of paprika. You could use it instead of paprika in goulash or paprikash, or you could add it to a marinade, soup or even salad dressing. Should be quite flavourful, I would think. I've seen a product like that in Toronto but never bought it.
