L'Auberge Carmel was listed as one of the Top 50 Restaurants in the world (by F&W mag, I think).
Has any fellow CH been? Any thoughts/advise/recs etc? (We will have only *one* night away from the kids--want the best food/experience possible! :)
(Any other recs welcomed--even "holes in walls", bakeries, etc--just want quality food!)
Been by it, but never in it. I think it has a total of 6 tables? There are so many other engaging options for dining down there, I doubt I'll make it there. Have you tried Cantinietta Lucca, same ownership as L'Auberge, great amosphere and food! Also the Flying Fish is is great.
