Zachary's in Oceanport

Yep. There's really nothing bad to say about Zack's. I love their prime rib night - something like 15$ for a decent prime rib. :D Good lunch specials too.

Pizza is good if you don't go on Monday. Salads are very good. Decent beer and wine by the glass selections.

I'm not familiar with Zachary's. Since I noticed you posted it in the underrated thread, can you tell us about the food, ambiance, etc., and what about it makes it fit that category?

I've been to Zachary's a few times, but not in a number of years. Unless the menu has changed, its a steak, chops, burgers, salads type of place. Personally, I never found anything they did particularly well, but the pizza is pretty good as is the bread they used to serve (I think with layers of eggplant baked in).

It really is more or less a bar and grill. specials are always good- fresh seafood is evident and tasty. pizza is also very good and the blackened chicken sandwich is also a personal favorite. it wont blow you away, but being a regular, I am very partial.
