Milwaukee, WI. Any feedback on Sobelman's for Lunch Please

I am going to be up in Wisconsin the first weekend in August attending the Sheboygen Brat Days event, and am looking for a lunch spot to hit on the way back down to Illinois in the Milwaukee area on a Sunday . I have heard the burgers are good @ Sobelman's , and the prices look inexpensive when looking at their website. I am curious if the burgers are as good as I have been told, and I am also curious about the Sobleman's Bloody Mary they offer, it looks like a meal in itself.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Skip the Bloody Mary and get a burger. They're great. My brother-in-law is from Queens and all he does is complain about how nothing in the midwest is as good as what's in New York. Took him to Sobelman's and he loved it. It's a darn good burger.

The burger is a definite, a thanks for the reply, and confirmatiion of what I have heard.

I have always wanted to try a Bloody Mary, and this may be the place after a long day on Saturday eating brats, and drinking beer.

Sobelman's Pub and Grill not only serves up greater downtown's best burger but they do it in an environment that's cleaner than any corner bar you've ever seen. The owners are great and very friendly.

A few years ago when I wrote restaurant reviews for a local magazine in Milwaukee, I did a column on best burgers, and the Sobelman's burger came out on top. Don't order any other burger - go for the Sobelman special.

It sounds like a consensus, the burger is worth the quick stopover in Milwaukee on the way home to Illinois from Sheboygen.

        Thanks for the input.
