Cuisinart Food Processor Problem!
I have a Cuisinart Pro Custom 11 that is about 6 years old. My problem is that the plastic tab on the pusher and sleeve assembly keeps breaking. I have been in touch with Cuisinart and my position is that this is a design problem. The tab is too flimsey and keeps breaking. They say that they haven't had this problem and that I must be breaking it.
Has any one else had this problem?
My original cuisinart (the French version) lasted for about 25 years without a problem. But this one keeps breaking.

I just bought my Cuisinart Pro Custom 14 from Khol's, open box buy, for $96. Myself and the sales lady thought all the parts were there until I got home and found that the DVD and the detachable stem was missing. I called Cuisinart cu service at around 10 or 11 o'clock at night est. time, someone answered and they promptly sent me a detachable stem and VHS (I clearly stated DVD, gave him the exact model ,serial , all the info he needed). Since then I have been calling my a... off trying to get through to someone to send me that DVD. I know they have it to send. And now they say they are open from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm . What the hell? I need that DVD. I had a fit to have this thing, got it at a hell of a deal and now need to know what the hell I can do with it, other than puree, pastry, and sliced cucumbers.
I think I may be reading too many food-related message boards ;-)
