Am I the only person who think On the Border is awful??
Don't ask me why I ate here last week. (My friend picked the place.) The rice was sticky and tasted so old, the refried beans were super running. My enchaillada's had barely any chicken and about a pound of cheese on it. It was so bad!! I thought maybe for a chain it would be decent, but was I wrong!!!

They basically have no fat or grease in the food. It is not advertised as "healthy", but it oddly has all the foods made that way. Even the chips ...which I watched being fried...when put in the basket, lined with paper, and the paper had no grease spots on it.

re: Cathy
Our family tried out On the border last summer and we weren't impressed. It was pretty awful. I do happen to like Chevy's though, if you get what they're good at. I love their fajitas and chips and salsa. I've been by there several times just to pick up a pound and a pint, as they call it.
