Any good places for high tea in Brooklyn?

  1. Don't know much about tea, high or otherwise, but I seem to recall Sweet Melissa on 7th Ave in the Slope having some sort of tea something-or-other.

There's a tea lounge on Kane and Court next to the art store that gets a good crowd, I’m not sure if they do anything regarding high tea or not.

sweet melissa's definitely has afternoon tea options with scones, tea sandwiches, etc. i'm not a fan of the court st. tea lounge, it is always really crowded, and not very comfortable to sit. they don't do afternoon tea, but they have various baked goods and other food.

    2. A wonderful shop to buy all kinds of Tea is Two For The Pot, in Brooklyn Heights, right off Atlantic Avenue.

The owner is a very pleasant and helpful fellow. If there is anyplace that offers High Tea, he would probably know.

Some of the hotels in the City serve High Tea, but I have never seen it offered in Brooklyn.. You might want to check Zagat.

      1. Sweet Melissa's in Brooklyn or Tea and Sympathy or Teany in Manhattan

Thanks everyone. I know about most of the places in Manhattan. I was just looking to branch out a little and go to Brooklyn for some new options.
