lookinf for san gabriel valley restaurant to host dinner reception

I will be hosting a dinner reception for about 100 people on a Sat night in October. I live in Covina, but would be willing to travel a bit - max 45 minutes or so. Ideally Italian, Mexican, or American.

I think La Huasteca in Lynwood would be a good place. Nice space and interesting upscale cocina Mexicana (Veracruz-style)

A beautiful reception in Embassy Suites, Arcadia, they have private banquet rooms and the lobby has beautiful tropical plants and a waterfall with fish, great for pictures.
