Bistro les Amis, what happened?

My friend and I dropped by for a small bite yesterday. We had some Blue Point oysters (decent, perfectly average) to start. Then we ordered a couple of appetizers since we were planning to eat dinner elsewhere a little later. I had the duck terrine with red peppercorns. It was extremely dry and lacking in any richness. It seemed like it had been made at least a week ago. My friend had the escargot and wild mushroom raviolis. It was awful. There was barely a hint of escargot, the raviolis were overstuffed, and most importantly, the pasta itself was terrible. It was transculent, and I'm almost certain they were wonton wrappers.

It's been awhile since I'd last visited, and I remembered the food as being high quality for the price. Has anyone had any recent experiences? I'm willing to give them another chance. Do I have any reason to?
