Inns for c'hounds in Vt/NH

I'm thinking about maybe getting away for a few days this summer and was wondering which inns have the restaurants that hounds would recommend?

The food is excellent, whether in the main dining room (full menu) or in the tavern, where the menu is a selection of 10 Asian-influenced small plates. It's in a beautiful area, and there's a lot to do and many other good restaurants.

We like to stay at the Waybury Inn in Middlebury, VT.

Forget Vermont--if you want to live free or die, come to New Hampshire! The White Mountains are beautiful, and in Jackson, The Inn at Thorn Hill has a great restaurant and an amazing wine cellar. http://www.innatthornhill.com/ My personal favorite is the Notchland Inn in Crawford Notch--they serve reasonable 5 course dinners and the place is elegant and casual. http://www.notchland.com/

Highly recommend the Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm. Nice rooms, great restaurant. Also recommend The Lauren, in Woodstock, owned by the Kedron Valley owners.

We love the Parker House Inn in Quechee- Kind of a French/European style Inn with amazing fresh food. The owner/host Adam couldn't be nicer or more helpful. I think he's british. The food is mostly french bistro with lots of vt fresh products. changes all the time too. Everytime we go we leave wondering why we don go more often. (mostly too tired to get out)

Von Trapp Family Lodge, Stowe, VT. Great Austrio-German food. There are other places in Stowe as well, and plenty of nice restaurants to choose.

mary's at baldwin creek is also great. They are located in Bristol, Vermont. Also, close by to Mary's are the following restaurants:

black sheep bistro
starry night
shelburne farms inn
bearded frog

all this without going into burlingon!
