Just got back from Costa Rica where I ate ranbutans 'til I dropped. Hoping someone would know where to get them in Brooklyn. Church Ave? Sunset park? or anywhere in the NYC area. Thanks

Seeing rambutan and lychees in Manhattan's Chinatown, I imagine you can find some in Brooklyn's Chinatown on 8th Ave. About the mangosteen -- aren't they the best? I previously thought they were illegal to import to New York, but people have been telling me otherwise. Still no reports of anybody spotting them this year. In the past, a friend of mine told me she has seen them in Chinatown, but they were previously frozen -- not the same.
