Another vote for the Daily Grill's turkey meatloaf. It has been a couple of years though, so I can't vouch for its quality or consistency today. I used to get it from the Beverly Connection location which has been closed for a while.

It's a special at Ronnie's Diner in Marina Del Rey.

I forget what night it's offered.

Ronnie's is one of my favorite places.

Hugo's in Sherman Oaks (Coldwater/Riverside) has a pure turkey meatloaf made with organic (I think) or natural turkey but I have never had it because they put bell peppers in it and I detest bell peppers. Hugo's has some really interesting and healthy food. You know, I might be wrong, it might be a turkey burger at Hugo's, not a meatloaf, but it definitely has bell peppers. I think Stanley's has a turkey meatloaf too but again I have the pepper issue and I know they put them in their meatloaf.

Also, Daily Grill used to do a really good turkey meatloaf without any nasty peppers, and the serving was enough for two meals (well, maybe not for you based on reading your highly interesting travel posts!). But I generally dislike going to Daily Grill so I haven't had it in a few years, so I don't know if it's still the same.

what's so bad about bell peppers? but yeah, i'll definitely try the turkey meatloafs that have greens, chile peppers, potatoes. or any sorts of other peppers.

does anyone know if comfort cafe is still around and serves turkey meatloaf? thanks.

They taste metallic to me and their taste permeates and overwhelms anything they are in. But I love spicy peppers, it's just the bells that I don't like. And lots of restaurants put them in food where they don't belong (such as crab cakes or...meatloaf), or strew them around as "garnish."

Daily Grill's is really good; so is the one from Ralph's deli counter, surprisingly enough... I even prefer it to Gelson's version.

Home also makes a good one.
