Shrimp and/or Crab Sandwich or Melt

I just returned from my glorious and food-filled vacation in the San Francisco Bay Area. On my way back to LA, I stopped in Pescadero at Duarte's (Chowhound suggestion) and had the most amazing crab melt. Filled with dungeness crab, mayo, swiss cheese and green onions on buttery sourdough.

Anyone know where I can find a similiar sandwich here in the southland? Will travel.

I like the Hot Crab Meat Sandwich at Harbor House Cafe. I've only been to the one at Sunset Beach. I usually end up going there and then do some kayaking to work it off!

If you end up liking it, you can get your crab meat sandwich fix 24 hours a day!

Hof's Hut in Long Beach has a nice Shrimp & Crab Melt. No mayo, however.

My FAVORITE is the Crab Melt at Cafe Del Rey... just heavenly...

Not crab, but The Lobster in Santa Monica has a wonderful lobster melt on their brunch menu.

Hal's on Abbott Kinney offers a delicious one without cheese on a kaiser roll and Cafe Del Rey in MDR used to have a good one on its lunch menu with cheese (I have not been there for lunch since last year so can't vouch whether it is still offered).
