I'm looking for great blood sausage in San Frncisco. I have enjoyed it at Le Central but the restaurant seems to be going downhill a bit recently. I tried it at a very Parisian (i.e. unpleasant and snobby)place in Belden Alley so please don't recommend that unless you think it is beyond wonderful.

So, any comments/ideas?

thanks, Mary Mocine (Joan's sister)

Then visit FC's web site and call them to ask what restaurants they might be selling the blood sausage to. It's might be worth the effort.

I believe they have in the past, not specifically sure about today. I know the pate has certainly been on local menus. I do know for a fact I've been beat out of my choice on sausage due to one of the chefs at BayWolf beating me to the punch. May have been for his private stash, though.
I'll ask when I go to pick up my custom sausage load on Saturday, I can hardly wait.

Here are a few places where they have or have had FC's sausage.

Hog Island Oyster, Market Bar, Slow Club, Out
the Door (pate), Luka's Tap Room, Lalaime's and lots more.

Oh you bet those little happy sausages are making the rounds.
