Blueberry corn muffin

Okay, I don't even eat muffins that often. However, this particular muffin, which can be had at the new West Village outpost of Birdbath Bakery, has me hooked. It's basically cornbread in the form of a muffin, which I really like because it's not overly sweet, stuffed with plump blueberries. For me, a dream combination! Go get one!

  1. Had a bear claw (date-filled?) there recently that was excellent. Thanks for the tip on the muffin!

    1. Can you post the address for the *new* west village location? TIA.

Sure - it's on the corner of Charles St and 7th Ave S.

      2. My new favorite item is the Baker's Muffin: it looks like a giant muffin with a puffy, almost culry top. I believe it's made up of leftover pieces and batter of other items: the top kind of tastes like leftover bits of the pretzel croissant.
