Palena Cafe menu

mzfoodie Jun 1, 2007 06:31 AM

I am taking a friend out for dinner tomorrow and was thinking of going to Palena cafe for dinner. Does anyone here have an idea of what is on the cafe menu? My friend is a little picky about food so I wanted to make sure that she would like the place.

I was there last week. Hamburger, house-made Hot Dog, Fry Plate and Roast Chicken are staples and other dishes seem to rotate. They had a salmon dish that was really good. The hamburger was excellent, although perhaps a little over-hyped. (After everything I'd read I was expecting a life changing experience.) I would not recommend the fry plate. Don't skip dessert.

Thank you for the suggestions. Will have them email the menu to me.

Well there is of course their famous hamburger and roasted chicken! Their website doesn't really have an updated menu but I would call the restaurant and see if they can email or fax over a copy of both the cafe menu and the regular menu (since you can order off of that as well at the cafe.)
