Wakulla Springs Lodge dinner

The family is probably dining at this place in late June. Anyone ever tried it? Do I need a head's up? Should we drive to Spring Creek instead?

We have eaten there several times during trips to the Springs. It's very old-fashioned, and the food is good, but I don't consider it great. I think there are better options nearby, including The Seineyard (not fancy, but good fresh seafood) and Sweet Peas.

Thanx for the input. I am actually surprised by the favorable reviews. We are staying at the lodge for the night, so I can give a full review at the end of June.

I've had some really good meals at the Springs Lodge and highly recommend it but I prefer eating there when the sun's up so I can enjoy the view.

Hook Wreck Henry's in Panacea is great - it's right on the water with inside and outside dining.

I have eaten at Wakulla Springs lodge and it was nothing to write home about but it was decent. Spring Creek is better. There is also talk about hook wrecked harry's but I have never to the location but have eaten their food at a festival.

I agree with Andy.. The breakfast is pretty good. The views are great, though... provided you get a window seat.
