late nite sushi in LA?

my work and lifestyle schedule often means i'm awake 'til the wee hours, with dinner coming anywhere from 9pm to after midnight. are any of the sushi places (in and around little tokyo or central LA preferably) open LATE? like,to midnight or later even...

thinking more of no-frills nigiri places as opposed to roll or trendy fusiony-type joints, although either will do as long as they have the nigiri and it's decent.

Izayoi until 11 I think (I was there until 10:30 about a month ago.) Shibucho too, but hardly no frills nigiri, although Shige will do it if you sit at a table.

Hamakawa in Little Tokyo is my favorite place. Exceptional quality and freshness, yet accessible. They used to be open until 1am every weekday, but last time I went by at 10:30pm and they were just closing. Might want to give a call.

I liked Hamakawa too, but I believe they closed earlier this year. :(

I know this isn't the greatest place, but it is open late, and there are a couple of them - Wocanko.

I believe there's a place in Venice on Main, though I can never remember it. I know they serve "sushi happy hour" which I'm assuming is just there novel way of getting rid of inventory at the end of the day.

You might be thinking of Chaya Venice. They have the ubiquitous happy hour sushi that ends at 7P but they also re-start a second late night happy hour at 10P until closing.
