Need to buy crabs

I need to buy a bushel of crabs in the Washington DC area, any suggestions? Also how much should I be looking to spend? Thanks.

i agree. fish market on maine ave is the best. i spent about $30 for 2 dozen medium males the other week. they were good! i went to captain whites

Thanks for all of the suggestions. First I will say that I normally go to the Quarterdeck in Arlington for my crabs, still love the place, but after I went to the Fish Market on Maine Ave this weekend, I am not sure if I will be back to the Quarterdeck. Why? Well a dozen mediums at the QD cost about $55.00. With some wheeling and dealing at the Market, I scored a bushel(about 7 dozen) for $90.00. Given it was raining and I don't think that it was busy as normal but the crabs were great and the price and market feel was just unbeatable.

I'm sure you can get them at the fish market. But I also someone selling crabs last Sunday at the Dupont Circle Farmer's Market. I don't know how much they were going for though.

I'd try the Washington Fish Market on Maine Ave. If you've never been, you should check it out regardless!
