    oz = ounce

    1 oz = approx 28 g (weight - flour, sugar, etc)
    1 fluid oz = approx 30 ml (volume - milk, water, etc)

      Thanx Lauren. In my own language we would say. Baie Dankie (sounds the same as saying "buy a donkey)

        try to get a Tala cup measure. It is conical shaped and available in England so possibly in S Africa too. it has metric and imperial measurements and also US and UK cup sizes.
