where can I order berberries from?

its apparently a middle eastern spice. I cannot find it at Penzey's, my usual place to buy spices.

  1. It's not really a spice, but a tart dried berry. It's spelled barberry, and the Persian name is zereshk; there are a variety on online sources for it if you just search on zereshk or barberries, for example

    1. Could you mean barberry? They're tiny red berries, very tart. You can find them in middle eastern shops. Penzeys doesn't carry them. You can order online from Kalustyan's:
