best sandwhich bread in LA
I know this is subjective....as there are millions of rolls and fillings..but who has the better breads for sandwhiches of all types in LA.....?
of all types?
my general all purpose choice right now is the Bristol Farms wheat bread..really tasty and great in sandwhiches.....

The sandwich rolls at Eagle Rock Bakery. Crusty top, tug and chew every time. Great for Subs, French dips, steak sand, just with fresh butter put inside or anything. Fresh all day. On Sat, morning at 11:30 the pizza bread is made. --only at this time, only on Sat --. also a must try.

Bay Cities Italian Deli in Santa Monica. Intersection of Lincoln & Broadway.
Their sandwich bread is made fresh throughout the day. I'll sometimes walk over for a warm loaf and eat half of it with Nutella. Yum.

I second this recommendation, I get the sandwich rolls to make sandwiches at home.

I like what I know, and I know what I like. Perfect for what it is paired with -- yep, the double-baked rye with that succulent pastrami at Langer's. The crusty but malleable wonderful rolls at Bay Cities -- versatile enough to complement a Godmother cold or a meatball hot, saucy and even toasted.
