fish sandwich store - college st.
I had a shrimp sandwich that I devoured in 2.2 seconds at the fish sandwich restaurant on college street.
Does anyone else have another recommendation for another fish sandwich restaurant to check out.

I just noticed this place, looks like it's worth a try, how does it cut it on the fish selling side?..it is a store that does sandwiches, not a little resto only, right?

re: Recyclor
They do have other things beside sandwiches... Burritos, soups, salads topped with the fish/seafood of your choice. I believe they will also sell you any of the fresh fish they stock, but I'm pretty sure you'd be paying a premium. Based of my experiences with their fish it's probably worth it, though.

re: Recyclor
They have a freezer with fresh fish on ice along one wall, a grill on another wall and maybe a couple of seats at a "bar" area. Great for a snack or you can sit outside in the "patio" (four seats??) if the weather is nice.
Really excellent fish sandwiches! I don't know how they make money with such a small enterprise though, so I hope the locals will keep on supporting them to keep them around!

re: jinxed
I am a sales rep, so I often find myself in the downtown core, looking for a good sandwich. There was a while, that I found myself going to the fish sandwich shop for the shrimp sandwich A LOT. I have never found another sandwich quite like it. I tried the scallop sandwich..not quite the same. What a great little find...

Go to Leslieville to Cajun Corner - the fried shrimp and catfish combo po-boy is one of my great pleasures in life.
