Anyone been? Sounds *very* promising.

I don't know - when I hear "Takoma Park" I usually think of vegetarian hippie food. It looks good from the review, but the Post has been wrong about bbq joints before. But I might check it out one of these days.

Go, grab a half slab and let me know your thoughts.

Well, I took my own advice.
Ribs! Ok, nothing special one way, or the other. $14 for 1/2 slab.
Close to metro, easy parking, quick serivce. BBQ is a hard to come by food in DC anyway. Texas BBQ on H to me sucks at anything but brisket. For ribs It is this, the guy on RI ave, He makes killer ham sandwiches! or the Rib Pit. Or the ride up to Laurel for RHB / FD's. 1st ask for sauce on the side!!! IMHO too sweet. I will try some of the other offerings another time.
