Sloppy Joe sauce?

Can I do anything else with it (besides te obvious sloppy joes)?

Spice it up and make chili dogs.

Spice it up, add a variety of beans (optional) and turn it into chili. I know the rice seems a bit odd for chili, but it is really good once you get used to it. Chili is always served over rice here. You could also turn it into a pasta sauce, add some herbs, thin it down just a bit depending on your preference. It should also freeze well for next time you want to make sloppy joes. Seems to me the rice could be ommitted from the original recipe. I don't remember it being in sloppy joes when I grew up.

Mix half ground beef, 1/4 pork sausage, 1/4 ground chicken or turkey, add 1 or 2 eggs (1 egg per lb of meat), a couple tablespoons of corn flour or cornbread mix, some steamed white rice (1/4 cup per lb of meat), minced garlic, chopped green onion, a touch of red chili powder, some of your sloppy joe sauce, mix it up and make a meatloaf. Cook it half way through then top with the rest of your sauce and finish cooking.
