CUT is booked, what's the next new steakhouse to try?
I know CUT has received controversial praise & criticism, but it's definitely the new place to try, right? But CUT is booked for the next dang month and we've got an out of towner coming in 2 weeks who wants the best meat LA has to offer. Any suggestions for what's the next "new" steak house to try? We've been to Arnie Morton's, Balboa, Boa, etc....

I find there's either a big drop off at steakhouses between the meat and the sides, or they do everything a la carte in a mammoth check building scheme. And frankly some of those sides still ain't that good. I think a better overall balance in quality can be obtained at the likes of Josie in Santa Monica.
