Bought some apple-mint lamb sausage - what do i do with it?
I went to whole foods for gluten free stuff and came home with the sausage because it caught my eye. I didnt really think about how to prepare it or what to make with it, though. Any ideas? I was thinking about just roasting some string beans and tomatoes. What do you think?
Grill it and serve it in pita bread or with flatbread, lettuce, tomatoes, yogurt, cucumber, onions.
I think string beans and tomatoes are a great choice.
You may want to try tossing the tomato in a bit of olive oil with some salt, pepper and perhaps a few chopped pieces of mint.
I am not up on gluten free starches but f you are looking for another accompaniement, perhaps herbed potatoes or rice with the a yogurt sauce like raita or tzaziki?
