Fun, casual, mingling venue for 15-20
Hi all,
I'm participating this year in a script writing challenge over the month of June, and as quite a few people in Toronto are also doing this, I'm trying to help our municipal liaison organize a small event halfway through the month where the locals can meet, hang out, live it up a little, etc.
I'm looking for a venue that would be willing to accommodate us (15-20 people, probably). It needs to be all ages, not particularly expensive, and fairly casual, i.e. we want to be able to mingle, read excerpts from our scripts, etc.
EDIT: We're not so much looking for dinner as we are a place with food and drinks available where we can mingle and have a good time. TTC accessible is a must, but downtown is not an absolute requirement.
The opening party is happening at Tequila Bookworm, and we don't want to impose on them again, but a location similar to that would be great.
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
