chinese cooking classes in socal?

hi - i'm a regular reader, first time poster. i'm looking for any chinese cooking classes in the socal area. i prefer classes that are taught in mandarian and focus on a specific chinese cooking technique, style, or cuisine type (e.g. dim sum, pastries, shanghai-style, etc.). wondering if anyone out there has encountered or knows if such a cooking class exists in the socal area. my mom and i both speak mandarian and love to cook so i thought it would be a nice outing for mother and daughter to do together. any help or recommendations would be appreciated!

Of course, it's all vegetarian, but the Buddhist temple in Hacienda Heights has some great classes. A lot of friends' mothers either take classes or teach classes there, so you might want to call and see what's being offered. Even if what you make there is vegetarian, you might pick up good techniques to use with meat at home.
