roast suckling pig in madrid? but not at botin!
Is Botin really the best for roast suckling pig and lamb in Madrid? When I went the wait staff were so hurried and the food was good but I would prefer a smaller, not so famous place.
Maybe Asador Tierra Aranda?

Asador Tierra Aranda is strictly for roast lamb (which I would highly recommend that you try).
Some asadores do both lamb and cochinillo (though Madrid is more of a lamb town): Asador Aranduero, Asador Los Molinos (several locations), Asador Real, Asador de Sacramenia, Los Arcos, and on the high end of things Coque (not an asador) in a far-flung 'burb. One recommendation about asadores: don't go at an off-time (dinner on Sunday or too early for lunch or dinner) or else you might get reheated food (they don't all keep the oven going non-stop). Also be sure to make a reservation.
