    1. Try the Olive's Gourmet Grocer in Long Beach. I just started eating meat (chicken) after being a vegetarian for about 25 years, and theirs is the only chicken I can eat. I asked one of the owners of the store, also told her the reason fro my curiousity, and she proceeded to tell me about their chicken connection. I was impressed. So, you might want to check in with them to find out their source. The fact that she took the time to explain all this to me gained favor with me - she was patient and informative. They really care about their products and their customers.

Oh, by the way, their olives are delicious. Not being a fanatic, I can pass on olives just because the olives often at hand are usually mediocre - and it's probably why I am not a fanatic. Again, I don't know where they get their olives from, but their olives have become my choice party food when asked to bring something - they are delicious! Here's what Yelper's are saying about Olives : http://www.yelp.com/biz/eg0B0k8ydSZV6...

      1. The Hollywood Farmer's Market as a stand with fresh free range chickens. Also the ladies from Lily's Eggs who service the west side market is starting to sell Chicken. I have yet to try... but will soon! :)
