I'd love some recommendations for springs in the Sherman Oaks area. Which are your favorites?
Totally non-traditional, but Hugo's on Riverside has a "spring roll" appetizer that is darn tasty. But not a "real" spring roll.
Just outside Sherman Oaks, but my favorite spring rolls are from the pho place in the shopping center on the northwest corner of Sepulveda and Victory (i.e., the pho place that is not in the Ranch 99 shopping center, but is across the street).
I agree, thats PHO 999-they have the freshest, most delicious spring rolls in the Valley-YUM!
I prefer the deep fried rolls for Pho So 1 next to Ranch 99. Far superior in my judgment. Those and a bowl of rice can make a meal alone for one person.
