A recent post mentions the vel chops at Positano on Mount Pleasant. What is the rest of the menu like? I got engaged in the real Positano on the Amalfi Coast, so it sounds like fun to go there for some sort of anniversary... Especially if Il Gelatiere is right nearby. The Husband's favorite thing about Italy might have been the gelato...
I was there a couple of weeks ago with three others. We weren't very hungry, dishes sampled: grilled calamari, veal chop, grilled salmon, pasta with mixed seafood, and another pasta dish -- can't remember what that was.
Standard stuff and and it wasn't that memorable---in my opinion---it's not worth travelling the distance. If in the hood, I would rather go to Zucca on Yonge and then zip over to the Gelati place if that's what you fancy.
