Has anyone eaten at El Bohio, a Cuban restaurant on Maybank Highway across from The Mustard Seed on James Island??

Yes and it is good. They have a limited selection but what they do have is simple and tasty. I have sought out good Cuban food on trips to Florida and have found what I believe to be very authentic Cuban restaurants. As far as I can tell it is very simple and plain food with only a handful of special occasion dishes that pull out all the stops. El Bohio is about as authentic as I would expect. It has not been too Americanized. Also check out their beer selection. Because they are also The Poor House I guess that they can afford to keep 30 different beers in stock.
