Silverlake Happy Hours
Anything good? Or do we have to go downtown?
How about Bigfoot Lodge in Los Feliz, anyone been?

I am liking the Royale happy hour at the moment, its a little more south (rampart & Wilshire) and might be out of your way though, but its thorough. 5p-8p mon - fri, $4 wine, beer & well, $5 martinis, and $4 - $9 app menu which includes a crudo menu, (big eye tuna is good) and a good assortment of things like the salads, shrimp, and ribs. Its not too crowded and always friendly.

The happy hour at Malo on Sunset near Fountain is from 5:30-7. They offer $5 margaritas (fresh lime juice, nice tequila...these are great margaritas...) and the chips and signature salsas are marked down. I know people complain about having to pay for chips and salsa, but they make the chips fresh to order and the salsas are something special...I don't mind paying for it. They do taco specials too. I know I can get drunk and full for under $15.

Not to be confused with Cha Cha Cha, the Cha Cha Lounge on Glendale Blvd. has cheap drinks and Pabst from around 5-7. No food though.

I love Red Lion Tavern...not sure if they have a happy hour, but I am assuming they do. I mean, they have a beer garden!!!

Cha Cha Cha is one of the more famous places in Silverlake for happy hour.

I tend to stay downtown, personally.
