    Cafe Vieux Montreal on Government St. They smoke their own smoked meat and have a pretty good duck confit salad. Also, some tasty dessert pastries.

    Daidoco Japanese Deli on Courtney St, open for lunch Monday-Friday only. Extremely fresh ingredients which form the basis of daily offerings (usually a hot special, some donburi bowls, and various salads). Yum.
