Venturing out of the LES to East Village.

Any good and quick dinner spots, not too pricey, that are not Dok Suni's or the Korean burrito place? Around 1st Ave & 9th street, thank you!

try Cecel's Cafe Crepe for dessert--try the double mango--share one if you are sort of full--very good and different(1st ave between St. Mark's and 9th St.)

1st and 9th presents the original Momofuku @ 10th (quick if you can get in right away) or similarly Rai Rai Ken down the street, Hummus Place on St. Mark's, Dumpling Man also on St. Mark's, Caracas Arepa Bar on 7th, Westville East on 11th and Ave A. Dessert at Veneiro's on 11th. All quick and cheap.

I'd add Teresa's, 1st Av. between 7th and 8th, for good Polish food and good diner favorites; Tarallucci e Vino on the corner of 10th and 1st, for good panini and desserts; and Cafe Mogador (not as cheap) for good tagines, couscous, and the delicious strawberry/rhubarb crumble. Oh, I guess Mogador wouldn't be quick; the other two would be quicker.
