i have just finished reading omnivore's dilemma and was inspired by the story of polyface farms in virginia. would love to locate an outfit in southern california who might raise poultry, pork, and beef with the same dedication to the happiness and health of their animals and their customers. there seem to be many such folks up in norcal. but after perusing the excellent website "eatwild.com" it appears our choices in this part of the world are highly limited. perhaps someone could be kind enough to recommend a family farm offering properly raised meats?
