Soft Shell Crabs for Lunch

Does anyone know where they are serving soft shell crabs for lunch? I've been having a craving and my old stand by place (Dearborn Oyster Place) has since closed.

I'd like to treat myself for lunch next week.

I work at Jackson and State and will need to fit it in within an hour so I guess nothing more than a 6-7 block walk in any directions.

Thanks everyone for looking out for these. Unforunately, work got crazy and so I am working through lunch and relaying on Lean Cusines. Forunately, when I get the chance to have them at lunch, they will taste that much better!

Not at all in your desired location, they had them at Sola over the weekend

Saw them at 2 places over the weekend (but didn't have them at either place): Club Lucky in Bucktown and at the Cafe at the Ritz in Watertower Place. Last place I had them for dinner was at Cuatro in the South Loop and they were excellent there.

I find soft-shells to be a bit of a crapshoot here in the Midwest, so I don't usually order them, but I did notice that Glenn's Diner, a good place for seafood in general, occasionally offers soft-shell po'boys on their chalkboard. Call first, tho, to make sure they've got 'em in house.

I had them at Cuatro in the South Loop a couple of weeks ago. Not sure if they are still serving them. They were divine, btw.

Not cheap but I've had them there before and they are very good. Of course it's about 8.5 blocks north of you so, technically, it's out of the requested radius.

I had the softshell po'boy at Heaven on 7 yesterday. Frankly, I was disappointed. The batter seemed to lack seasoning. Also, very cumbersome to eat. I didn't note if there was any sort of softshell platter.

Sun Wah does a good job with soft shells.
But then I like Heaven on Seven, so you may want to disregard.

They are on the menu at Trattoria No. 10 currently (both lunch & dinner). I've not tried them so I cannot comment on the preparation.
