That upstairs Middle Eastern place on St. Catherines

Last year I went to a restaurant on the corner of St. Catherines and something else, upstairs, on the same floor as a sporting goods store. I'm sorry, but I don't remember the name.

What I liked about it was the heaping pile of really good food they gave me. The meats were good and the salads were all really good. It reminded me of eating in Paris' Latin Quarter years ago.

Do people have any comments about this place, or a recommendation of a similar restaurant that's maybe a notch above this one?

I went there by myself last time, and I want to go back with my family, this weekend. I'm concerned that I'll be the only one who likes it.

Thanks.

  1. Basha?

    1. that's Basha for sure. If you're looking for good lebanese with service, I suggest Aux Lilas on Ave. du Parc.. As for the picky eaters in your family- I wouldn't worry- The brochettes are delicious and among many other things on the menu that would appeal to a novice eater.
