Looking for great salami in Bham

Does anyone know of a place that sells truly great hard salami (not the cotto stuff) in the greater Bham area? I have a huge hankering for it and the Oscar Mayer/Boars Head stuff just won't do.

  1. Hey Sheila, just saw this post. Try Tria in Homewood. They carry Framani salami, made by Paul Bertolli in Berkeley. It's great, though quite expensive. Not for putting on white bread with miustard--it's salumi-platter type stuff. I've also seen some other Framani stuff there--soppressata and some kind of spicy sausage.
