STOP THE PRESSES!!! Clad Cookware - Lowest Price EVER!
OK, so it's NOT All-Clad. But it IS just as good, if not a whole lot better because it's about a third the price. I just got these absolutely fabulous pots and pans and I cannot praise them highly enough. They are super heavy: stainless, aluminum, stainless totally sandwiched, all with covers, all rivets are large and fully welded.
These are the prices of the items I purchased:
12" wide deep saute' pan - $69.90 (the thing is HUGE and feels like it weighs about 10 pounds);
3 1/2 qt. saucepan - $44.90;

I have been comparison shopping for All-Clad type clones for years now and this is absolutely the best deal I have ever seen. They even have the heat reducing split shank handle. They look exactly like All-Clad. But could they be even heavier? Maybe...Heavy is good.
The brand is Kerry Simon. I saw them on the HSN cable TV shopping channel (just channel surfing and caught my eye - I swear to God I don't watch that channel, kind of embarrassing, actually...) They have everything you could want from a large set to a one quart pot, dutch ovens, fry pans - you name it.
