I used to live on the north side of Youngstown, near I-80. It's pretty much a dining wasteland around there. But here's what I do when driving east. I go a little further down 80 to Sharon PA. The original Quaker Steak & Lube is a few minutes off the interstate. It's a little gimmicky. The restaurant is in an old gas station. But the chicken wings are the best I've ever had. And they have 19 different flavors! Our family is partial to the Golden Garlic wings. But if you like spicy, you have to try the Atomic Wings. IIRC, they used to make you sign a waiver before they would serve them to you. They are that hot! I see that they've now grown into a national chain. I've not tried the branches, but the original in Sharon was always great.
One caveat -- a Friday night might be crowded. But if it's early enough in the evening, you might not have to wait for a table.
