Dessert: Grace, Hatfields or something else?
Which of the two restaurants has better dessert, in your opinion? Or maybe something else withing walking distance of the two restaurants? (Is Milk open late?)

Between the two, I'd tip the hat to Grace. The mille-feuille at Hatfield's is quite good, but there's so many great options for dessert at Grace, even the doughnuts!
Milk is good, but there are a lot of things on the menu that need some touch up. Grace is pretty good for their desserts, but if you really want the best desserts I would go to patina. The head pastry chef is usually there from tues-sat and does an amazing job. The desserts just melt in your mouth!
Unless your idea of a post-dinner walk has you going halfway across the city, Patina is in no way within walking distance of either of the two restaurants, and giving up fabulous meals at either Grace or Hatfields (which are purported also to have amazing desserts) just to have a good dessert at Patina (which has mediocre savory food for the price) seems a rather wasteful as well.
That said, has anyone tried the chocolate-peanut butter truffle cake at Hatfields? I love the concept of that pairing with a salted (albeit caramel) ice cream.
MILK is cute, and doesn't really require much...commitment, I suppose.
