Palm Coast
My wife and I will be staying at the Ginn Hammock Beach Resort, Palm Coast FL from June 21 to 26. Some of the time will be taken up by family reunion events but we will have a couple of days on our own. Can you please tell what you think are the best good food/good value restaurants in the area? We will have a car. I tried a search but only came up with old threads. Thanks.

Definitely go to Barbara Jean's in European Village, for the fried chicken. I'm sure other stuff there is good, but the chicken is even more universally beloved than Publix's. :-P There are other places to eat in there too, and a nice atmosphere.
Also, I've eaten at The Meeting Place, 278 Palm Coast Parkway NE, lots of old timers but surprisingly good food at a great value. Avoid the chicken gorgonzola, it's basically swimming in a cheese soup, but everything else was good, including stuffed mushroom appetizer, clams, a humongous steak, lobster tail and Bailey's pie.

I would head north to St Augustine where there are many good restaurants to choose from or check out European Village just south of the Ginn Resort.
