Which beaches have the best BBQ setup?

I know that Huntington Beach has those pits and they work pretty well for grilling and bbq.

What other beaches have good setups for grilling your meats, fish, veggies, s'mores, etc.?

  1. Dockweiler Beach just south of LAX has tons of pits for bonfires, bbq etc

If you head to Dockweiler, be prepared to hear planes take off all day. It's actually pretty cool the first time, as the plane is so low to the ground, but after a couple times you might get tired of the loud noise.

    2. and they won't let you fly kites at Dockweiler (lifeguard made us pull it down since it supposedly interferes with LAX radar...hard to believe but the kite came down!)

Head south... Aliso Creek in South Laguna is nice and has fire pits (and phenomenal skimboarders in the am/pm!). Doheny State Park(next to Dana Point harbor) is not high on my list- beach at that location isn't particularly scenic imho...and Capistrano Beach (along the stretch of El Camino Real, south of Doheny) also. Unfortunately, at least as of last summer, they'd removed the ones at T-street in San Clemente, same with their Pier, but call the lifeguard HQ, they could tell confirm.
