The Best Garlic Toast EVER!

Combine 3 tbsp. butter, 3 tbsp. parmesan or romano or combination of the two, 1 tbsp/ garlic paste, 1 tbsp. olive oil. Spread on any bread (thin sliced or thick french, sourdough, etc) Broil until brown and bubbly. Makes 4 slices. It's fabulous!!

    Yup- we do the same thing- except I make a compound butter with fresh garlic. When our teen makes it, she uses garlic powder instead. This is what we do when we have leftover bread.

      My favorite garlic bread is: butter, parmesan, fresh garlic, parsley & salt. that cheese really makes it!

        Thanks, sounds great! Yes, I agree - even with varying amounts of cheese, the key is to use both olive oil and butter...
