I have been to Elite 4 or 5 times in the last few weeks and they are doing an amazing job. I would definately check this place out. It is on Atlantic in MP.

Ocean Star is wonderful..but get there before 10am or plan on a long wait.

I've had two great weekday experiences at Ocean Star getting there by 12 in the last month. Even when we left though, the restaurant wasn't full. The nice thing was we didn't have to wait 2 hours for the duck and baked goods. It was all out there.

Good tip. I always go on Sunday morning and it is packed by 11:00

If you have to be in Monterey Park, best bet would be Ocean Star, Elite or NBC (in that order).

Outside of Monterey Park but staying in the SGV, try 888 (Rosemead), Sea Harbour (Rosemead) and Triumphal Palace (Alhambra).
