        1. at a recent visit to my host-mother's home, she blanched some and served them with straight kewpie mayonnaise in which to dip. they were delicious!!

            1. Washed and placed in a bowl on the table. Everyone snaps the ends and threads for themselves, as they find necessary. We eat them all year. Instant green vegetable.

I personally love them sliced in half and added to stir fries, and raw in salads and items like Cold Noodles and Sesame Sauce.
              Enjoy. p.j.

Blanched, drained, and tossed with olive oil, S&P. Good side dish. I like mine to still be pretty crunchy.

                  • Stir-fried and finished with (1) salt and toasted sesame oil, (2) a splash of oyster sauce.

                      1. Love them straight out of the garden too. Mine need another 2 weeks before they are ready tho. My fav way is to blanch them, chill them in ice water and then drizzle on sesame oil and sesame seeds. Wonderful, lite pea salad.
