SO what are your favorite foodie blogs? I like to read chezpei. I love her pictures and she updates almost everyday. Are there any others that update frequently?

There's a new food blog that I've been checking out after seeing a link on chowhound LA. It's only been up for a couple of weeks, but it already has a bunch of very wide ranging posts from donuts to scotch. The kind of writing that makes you hungry. Reminds me of J Gold in the LA weekly.

Eating In Translation, Dave Cook's blog, was first brought to my attention by Jim Leff on this site. The reviews are short, to-the-point and no nonsense. No long boring treatises on food philosophy, no long, cute descriptions of hanging out with groups of friends at the trendiest places, just well-done, nuts and bolts reviews of eateries all over NYC and its' environs (with forays upstate, into jersey, etc.). Good photos, too. And here's the kicker: he updates on a daily, or near-daily, basis. At this rate, if he goes nonstop, he'll eat his way up to Buffalo by November. I highly recommend this blog to any and all who are interested in dining out in New York. Enjoy:

Thanks funkymonkey. I already love your site. The best bite---something I obsess over the minute my food is assembled. Love your profile. Nice to know I'm not the only one who thinks about food ALL the time. I sometimes wonder if I have a disorder. It just can't be normal.

i think it is some sort of disorder. i like to think of chowhound as our support group.

CHowhound as therapy! Unfortunately I think chowhound just feeds the addicition. It's not helping us overcome anything.
